OPEL KEYS AND SHELLS
If you drive a GM Opel you probably know that they are very similar to other German vehicles and have a quite advanced immobiliser system in them.
The Opel key has a philips crypto transponder chip in the top of the key blade or on the remote circuit board.
Best policy is to have a backup Opel key kept in a safe place for when you need it.
You can either obtain an Opel key or remote key from your local dealership or from our workshop in Auckland on the North Shore.
It takes about 30 mins and will save you a fortune and a lot of wasted time as well.
